Tipos de Jamón Ibérico

En el mercado existen diferentes tipos de jamón ibérico en función de la raza del cerdo que proceda y de su tipo de alimentación.

Razas:

Ibérico Puro. Los jamones proceden de cerdos cuyos progenitores son de raza ibérica pura.

Ibérico. El jamón se obtiene de cerdos ibéricos, cruzados con otra raza.

Alimentación:

Bellota.
El cerdo ibérico se ha alimentado en su fase de engorde exclusivamente de bellotas y pastos de las dehesas.

Recebo. Su alimentación ha consistido en bellotas y pastos de las dehesas complementados con piensos al final del engorde.
Cebo Campo. El cerdo ibérico se ha alimentado en su fase de engorde a base de piensos en terrenos al aire libre.
Cebo. El cerdo ibérico se ha alimentado a base de piensos en recintos cerrados.


Types of Iberian ham

In the market there are different types of ham depending on the breed of pig that appropriate and in their diet.

Races:

Pure Iberian. The hams come from pigs whose parents are purebred Iberian.
Iberian. The ham is obtained from Iberian pigs crossed with another breed.

Feeding:

Acorn. The Iberian pig has been fed in their growth stage exclusively on acorns and grass of the meadows.
Refodder. Their food consisted of acorns and grass of the pastures supplemented feed at the end of fattening.
Bait Camp. The Iberian pig has been fed in fattening feed based on outdoor courts.
Bait. The Iberian pig has been fed on feed indoors.
